Epidemic: Past and Future Threats
We will discuss epidemics and pandemics of the past and present and model the spread of disease in a population (the class). How has disease affected historical events? How are the historical responses to disease different from the modern responses? How are they the same? Are we at greater or lesser risk than Europeans living in the 1400s?
