College of Agriculture & Life Sciences Orientation InformationThe College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Orientation will be the next step in your adventure of becoming an Iowa State student. 1. Make a reservation for orientation2. You will receive a confirmation letter in the mail.
Please save this information and bring it with you to orientation.
3. Placement examsYour confirmation letter will indicate which placement exams you need to complete. English Placement InformationTransfer Students: Your invitation and confirmation letter will include information regarding which placement assessments are required for your major, considering your academic background and experience. The assessments in Math/Statistics and Chemistry can be found in AccessPlus, under the Student Tab. Incoming First Year Students: Students should complete the Math/Statistics and Chemistry placement assessments as soon as possible. They can be found in AccessPlus under the Student Tab. If you have questions regarding placement assessments, please contact the Agriculture and Life Sciences Student Services Office at 515-294-2766. Orientation sessions are specific to your major.
